In San Diego moles and gopher removal is serious business ! It takes constant vigilance to avoid being over run by the little digging pests. Moles are insectivores, and want the worms and grubs which lye just under the layer of sod. Naturally, the moles will push the sod up attempting to get the worms, thus making it difficult to mow the grass without sending chunks of sod flying. Beside that, the ground becomes difficult to walk on without twisting an ankle, and believe me, the older you get the more it happens.

Gophers are herbivores, meaning that they eat plants, and roots of plants sometimes. In San Diego, gophers don’t really leave a trail like a mole, but they do leave piles of dirt each time they surface to get fresh air, and nibble on grass.

Both moles and gophers are destructive little rascals, and we have the trappers to remove them.
